Asheville - June K. Youngblood, 78, died Thursday, October 5, 2006.
A native of Charlotte, she was the daughter of the late Cecil E. and Vada Hancock Kale and was a member of Central United Methodist Church. Mrs. Youngblood served an appointment with the North Carolina State Board of Elections and the Buncombe County Board of Elections and was very active with the Buncombe County Republican Women's Club.
Mrs. Youngblood is survived by her husband, John C. Youngblood; two daughters, Diane Freestate of Centreville, Maryland and Marsha Clinton of Reston, Virginia; son, J. Curtis Youngblood, Jr. of Fairview; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Yvonne Manning of Huntersville, NC and Pat Brewer of Raleigh and three brothers, Richard Kale of Washington State, Wayne Kale of Colorado and David Kale of New Mexico.
Interment will follow in Calvary Episcopal Churchyard. |
