Elizabeth (Kale) Fish, 86, passed away 8 Nov 1871 in Lawrence County, Indiana. She was born in 1785 near Catawba in Lincoln County, North Carolina, daughter of Balser Kale and his wife, Nancy Ann Bridges.
Elizabeth married Isaac Fish, son of William Fish and his wife, Juda Asher. Elizabeth and Isaac wed 7 Mar 1803 in Lincoln County, North Carolina and the family migrated with his brother, William, to Orange County, Indiana in 1816.
However, it wasn't long before this section of Orange County became Marshall Township, Lawrence County where Elizabeth and Isaac raised 9 children; Nancy, Eliza, Lanson, Rosanna, Hosea, Rebecca, Emeline and Martha. One child, William, is also credited to the family group but nothing is known of him.
